Apple has made another move to strengthen its podcast business by acquiring Scout FM, a start-up whose app creates radio-like stations from podcasts.
Bloomberg have reported that the tech giant recently bought the company as it seeks to stave off competition from Spotify.
The app uses listeners' preferences to create a string of back-to-back podcasts on specific topics, such as sport or politics, giving the user a similar experience to radio.
