Spotify has acquired Megaphone in a move it says will help advertisers and publishers realise the full potential of podcasts.
The audio streaming service's multi-million-pound expansion into podcasting continues with this latest link-up that aims to "accelerate smarter podcast monetisation".
Megaphone claims it is revolutionising podcast advertising with its Megaphone Targeted Marketplace platform, which offers "unprecedented listener reach, true measurement, efficient execution, and guaranteed brand safety".
